Thursday evening bible study

Our Thursday Bible Study Group meets every other Thursday evening in the parish hall at 6:00pm for a light meal and the study begins by 7:00pm.
For further information, please contact us or Sue Evancho at 203-305-6258.
Currently, we are studying: N.T. Wrights "The Letters of John." Our next study will use N.T. Wrights 'Acts of the Apostles."
We are a group of lay individuals, some with limited experience of the bible, some who are practiced theologians, and most of us who are in between. We support each other and respect each other’s unique perspectives. We pray for each other and pray for our parish family, our community and our nation. The best part of this group is you can come to every session, or whenever you are available.
Research has shown that small groups have such a positive impact on our lives. It builds in us a sense of belonging as we share struggles and everyday life’s victories and challenges. It creates in us a bond with others, as well as deepening our relationship with God and growing in our faith. We then feel empowered to become disciples of Christ (which is our job as Christians).
“Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18: 19-20). You are always welcome.
Again, should you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Susan Evancho 203-305-6258.
